I’ve said it before and I’m going to say it again – there are no rules when it comes to nail polish. Make it up as you go, experiment, have fun! And this post is just that – fun! I can’t take credit for it’s origin, as I’m not the founder of it. I give thanks to my close friend for being my inspiration. d, this one’s for you!

For this look, what you do is make 4 nails in the same color/shade category and an accent nail of white, black, glitter, or I suppose whatever you choose! :) As you can see from the pictures, I used pink with a gold, sparkly accent nail.

Pinky: GAP Paparazzi;  flat hot pink, dries semi-matte ($4.50, GAP stores)

Ring: Sephora X Ice Princess; gold with almost a lime green tinge dense glitter flecked with medium hexagonal and small circular light pink glitter (Sephora.com, $11.50)

Middle: Orly Fancy Fuchsia; blue based creme fuchsia – one of my faves! (Beauty.com,  $8.50)

Pointer: Zoya Gie Gie, shimmering light pink (Zoya.com, $8 – sidenote, the bottom of my bottle it says “Gie Gie” on their website it’s under “GeiGei”)

Thumb: Orly Catch the Bouquet, Sheer peachy pink with a very slight hint of violet shine to it – Looks best when layered over a coat of a light pink (Beauty.com, $8.50)

I chose to use Sephora X Ice Princess because of the fact that it still had pink in it. I felt like it both stood out and tied the look together in a fun & funky way! Wouldn’t you agree?

It was hard to capture a good picture, but this does Sephora X Ice Princess a little more justice!
